Veteran Presence: Cole Blankenship Setting the Tone for Mustang Football 11U Black

OKLAHOMA CITY - EntSun -- Playing for 11U Black under Head Coach Stephen Perkins, a coach with a long-standing history of championship success in Mustang, Cole has embraced the role of a leader and a workhorse.

The off-season has been anything but "off" for the eldest Blankenship brother. Preparing for the Mustang Youth Football and Cheer  (MYFAC) means preparing for some of the most physical and talent-dense teams in the state. Cole's preparation has focused on the "elevated" side of the game: advanced situational awareness, strength conditioning, and mastering the complex schemes that Coach Perkins utilizes to maintain 11U Black's competitive edge.
