United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades swings into spring with annual fundraiser

LABELLE, Fla. - EntSun -- United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades hosted its 20th annual Swing into Spring fundraiser for its Hendry and Glades partner agencies, raising more than $30,000 with a sold-out crowd. Proceeds will help 22 partner agencies continue more than 30 programs and initiatives that address critical community needs and further United Way's mission to improve the quality of life for all people in the community.

The event was held April 11 at the LaBelle Civic Center. Guests enjoyed dinner, games with opportunities to win prizes, music by the LaBelle High School Vaquero Jazz Ensemble, as well as live and silent auctions.
