Two STG Logistics Employees Honored with 2025 Women in Supply Chain Awards

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 16, 2025 ~ Two STG Logistics employees have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to the supply chain industry. Summer Weinberg, Director of Systems and Compliance, received the Workforce Innovator Award, while Megan Williams, Senior Vice President of Operations, was honored with the Trailblazers Award.

These prestigious awards are part of the 2025 Women in Supply Chain Awards, which aim to recognize female leaders and executives who have made significant impacts in their organizations and set a strong foundation for women in all levels of the supply chain network.

Weinberg has been with STG for over 15 years and has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational expertise. In her current role, she has spearheaded system enhancements and compliance initiatives, serving as a vital liaison between operations and IT. Her career progression from managing complex air freight and public warehousing operations to shaping national compliance protocols reflects her deep commitment to excellence and innovation.

Williams joined STG in 2021 as the leader of recruiting and verifications teams. Since then, she has expanded her responsibilities to include Safety, Per-Diem Equipment, M&R, and Operations. She oversees 11 Intermodal and Drayage terminals and is responsible for driver recruiting, verifications, vendor relations, and procurement. Williams' work has transformed how STG supports its drivers and operations. Her ability to balance operational excellence with a driver-centric approach sets her apart as a leading figure in the supply chain industry.

Marina Mayer, Editor-in-Chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Co-Founder of the Women in Supply Chain Forum, praised this year's award winners for their remarkable achievements despite disruptions, economic uncertainty, and other challenges in the industry. She highlighted their efforts to strengthen leadership pipelines, prioritize a people-first approach, introduce new products, and change the perception of women in supply chain.
