Thousands Expected for "No Kings III" Countywide Day of Protest

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. - EntSun -- PASCO RESISTS TO HOST "NO KINGS III," COUNTYWIDE DAY OF PEACEFUL PROTEST

Three locations, one message: power belongs to the people, not a king

PASCO COUNTY, FL – March 28, 2026 – Pasco Resists, a non-partisan grassroots organization focused on community engagement and democratic participation, will host No Kings III on Saturday, March 28, a coordinated day of peaceful protest across three locations in Pasco County.

This marks the first time the organization has coordinated multiple demonstrations on the same day, reflecting significant growth in both scale and local participation. Following a turnout of approximately 2,400 attendees at No Kings II, organizers anticipate between 3,000 and 5,000 participants for this third event.

No Kings III is centered on a clear message: in a democracy, power belongs to the people, not any one individual. The demonstrations provide a visible, accessible space for residents to gather, express their views, and participate in peaceful civic action. The events are part of a broader national day of action taking place across the country.

"Pasco County is showing up in a way we haven't seen before," said Larry Richards, Founder of Pasco Resists. "This isn't about any one issue or individual. It's about a shared belief that democracy only works when people participate."

"This is a step forward in how we organize as a community," said Nick Veneris, organizer with Pasco Resists. "Coordinating across multiple locations allows more people to participate and strengthens our ability to show up together."

Organizers emphasize that all events will remain peaceful and community-focused, with volunteers present across all locations to support coordination, safety, and accessibility.
