The SPIN Awards Welcomes Gospel Legend Dorothy Norwood to 10th Anniversary Celebration

Affectionately known around the world as "Gospel's Greatest Storyteller," Dorothy Norwood has inspired generations through her unmistakable voice, heartfelt ministry, and timeless storytelling. With a professional career spanning more than seven decades, she has become one of Gospel music's most beloved and influential pioneers.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Norwood first gained national recognition as a member of the legendary Caravans before founding the Dorothy Norwood Singers and building an extraordinary solo career. Along the way, she has earned multiple Grammy Award nominations, Stellar Award recognition, recorded more than 50 albums, achieved Billboard No. 1 Gospel projects, and received numerous honors recognizing her lifelong contributions to Gospel music.
