BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. - EntSun -- The Brooklyn Park Small Business Center (BPSBC) is proud to celebrate its second anniversary, highlighting its ongoing commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs and small businesses in the community and surrounding areas.

The Center has significantly expanded it's offerings, scheduling to host a variety of events and workshops. Notable monthly offerings include the RISE (Resiliency, Innovation, Sustainability, Empowerment) networking event, member-led workshops and seminars, and an upcoming Third Friday Happy Hour fostering insurance industry-based networking designed to educate and bring together local entrepreneurs.

Efforts have been made to connect with a broad spectrum of small businesses throughout Brooklyn Park and the broader Twin Cities, including home-based businesses, realtors, insurance professionals, attorneys, accountants, retailers, and artisan crafters. As the holiday season approaches, the Center will host several exhibits and pop-up events to showcase local talent and encourage community commerce.

Over the past two years, BPSBC achieved an impressive occupancy rate of over 70% in terms of membership recruitment. In contrast, small businesses in general have been greatly impacted by national economic indicators due to key fluctuations and challenges such as cash flow, customer attraction /retention, regulatory compliance, and taxes. In response the Center created an accessible subsidy support program especially for dedicated retail workspaces.
