The Anti-Cash-Cow Manifesto: Can you tell Friends from Enemies?
EntSun News/11098576
NEW YORK - EntSun -- Board development programs have a dirty secret: at most courses, you're not a participant — you're a seat. A seat that fills a lecture hall of 30 or even 300 executives, all paying exorbitant tuition to watch a speaker perform at a podium, ask a question if you're lucky enough, and leave with a certificate that is more branding than substance. They deliver content at you. You leave with a branded folder and the vague sense that something important was discussed around you.
We reject that model entirely. Each cohort of our Certificate Board Leadership Program on Quantum and AI is capped at 5 participants.
Board members don't need trivia on quantum computing and AI from one-to-many lectures, they need sharper judgment — the kind that only develops through interactions. That kind of intellectual rigor doesn't survive at scale. Five participants means the conversation goes where it actually needs to go: into the technical realities beneath the hype, the strategic ambiguities that don't resolve neatly, the ethical tensions your board will face before your legal team has answers, and the governance questions that have no precedent.

You are taken seriously here.
Every voice carries weight. Every question reshapes the direction of the room. You are not consuming a curriculum — you are co-constructing understanding in real time alongside peers whose decisions will shape how Quantum and AI are governed at the highest levels.
At five participants, the faculty-to-leader ratio is extraordinary. As a board member, the challenge is in protecting the organization from unmanaged risks, while ensuring promising ideas are not rejected before their value is understood. Every participant receives the depth of engagement, the specificity of dialogue, and the intellectual respect that larger programs structurally cannot provide.
Why wouldn't we teach 20 in each cohort instead? It would be easier and more profitable. Five participants per cohort is not a marketing gimmick; it is a philosophical rejection of that model. We're not saints. We simply believe that this anti-cash-cow approach best prepares leaders to take an active role in quantum and AI.

That's our model. You belong here with leaders creating the future of Quantum and AI — this is an invitation. We don't ask you to prove your worth through an admissions essay. All we ask is a link to your web profile such as Linkedin. We trust that if you're seeking this level of fluency in quantum and AI at the board level, you already belong in the room. Some Leaders Wait for the Future. You're not one of them.
