Texas: Governor Abbott Reappoints Mahadeva To Executive Council Of Physical Therapy And Occupational Therapy Examiners

~ In a recent announcement, Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Manoranjan "Mano" Mahadeva to the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners. Mahadeva's term is set to expire on February 1, 2027.

The Council's main responsibility is to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the people of Texas by supporting the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and the Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners. This includes licensing and regulating qualified practitioners in these fields as well as registering facilities where these services are provided.

Mahadeva, a resident of Frisco, brings a wealth of experience to the Council. He previously served as the CEO of Millennium Physician Association and is a member of prestigious organizations such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mahadeva is also actively involved in his community. He is a member and past president of the Plano Metro Rotary Club, past president of the Plano Early Lions, and former board chair of Leadership Plano.

Mahadeva holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from The University of Texas at Dallas. He also earned a Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from East Texas A&M University (formerly known as Texas A&M University – Commerce).

With his extensive background and dedication to serving others, Mahadeva is well-equipped to continue his role on the Executive Council and contribute to its mission.
