Texas: Governor Abbott Appoints Moore To 512th Judicial District Court In Williamson County

~ Governor Greg Abbott has recently announced the appointment of Sarah Moore as the new Judge of the 512th Judicial District Court in Williamson County. Moore, a resident of Liberty Hill, will serve a term that is set to expire on December 31, 2026, or until her successor is elected and qualified.
Moore brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having served as an assistant district attorney in the Office of the 26th Judicial District Attorney. She is also an active member of various legal organizations such as the Williamson County Inns of Court, Williamson County Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, National District Attorneys Association, Texas District & County Attorneys Association, and the Texas Prosecutor Society.

In addition to her legal work, Moore is also heavily involved in her community. She serves as an Executive Board Member for WilCo Women's Center and is the chief of the Human Trafficking Awareness Committee at Georgetown Rotary Club. She also volunteers regularly with local non-profits including The Caring Place and Brookwood in Georgetown community.
Moore holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law. With her extensive background and dedication to serving others, she is sure to make a valuable contribution as Judge of the 512th Judicial District Court.
