Texas: Governor Abbott Appoints Bonnot, Juroske To Lavaca-Navidad River Authority

~ In a recent announcement, Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Joe Lynn Bonnot, D.D.S. and Dianne Juroske to the Lavaca-Navidad River Authority. Bonnot's term is set to expire on May 1, 2028 while Juroske's term will end on May 1, 2027. The Authority is responsible for managing the storage, preservation, and distribution of stream and river water in Jackson County.
Bonnot, a retired dentist and rancher from Ganado, brings a wealth of experience to the Authority. He is a member of prestigious organizations such as the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Guadalupe District Dental Society. In addition to his professional achievements, Bonnot also volunteers with Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster of Jackson County. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Texas A&M University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Texas Houston School of Dentistry.

Joining Bonnot on the Authority is Dianne Juroske from Edna. With over thirty years of experience in education as a teacher and principal in Industrial Independent School District, Juroske's expertise will be valuable to the Authority. She currently serves as board president for Jackson County Teachers Federal Credit Union and is also a member of Jackson County Retired School Personnel. Juroske holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Education and a Master of Education Administration and Supervision from Texas A&M University-Victoria (formerly known as the University of Houston Victoria).
Both Bonnot and Juroske are honored to have been chosen by Governor Abbott for these important roles within the Lavaca-Navidad River Authority. Their extensive backgrounds make them well-equipped to contribute to the management and protection of vital water resources in Jackson County for years to come.
