Swire Coca ~ Swire Coca-Cola, USA has recently announced the opening of a new distribution facility in Mesa, Arizona. The facility, spanning over 241,000 square feet, will serve as a hub for the bottler's operations in the fast-growing Phoenix metro area.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Andrea Kendell, president and CEO of Swire Coca-Cola, USA, and Mesa Vice Mayor Scott Somers. Kendell expressed her excitement about the new facility and its potential to meet the increasing demand for their products in the east side of Phoenix.
"We are pleased that this new distribution facility in Mesa will help us serve customers and consumers on the fast-growing east side of Phoenix," said Kendell. She also thanked the City of Mesa for their support and acknowledged the hard work of her team in bringing this project to fruition.
The Mesa distribution facility will play a crucial role in meeting the growing demand for Swire Coca-Cola's popular beverage brands such as Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, POWERADE, smartwater, Gold Peak Tea, Monster Energy, Core Power and more.

Mesa Mayor Mark Freeman also expressed his enthusiasm about Swire Coca-Cola's decision to invest in their city. "This is a company people know and trust-Coca-Cola is part of everyday life," said Freeman. He also commended the efforts of the economic development team and other individuals who worked behind the scenes to make this project a reality.
Vice Mayor Scott Somers highlighted how this new facility aligns with Mesa's vision for growth and development. "Southeast Mesa continues to see significant growth, and this facility is a great fit for that momentum," said Somers. He also emphasized how its strategic location near major transportation corridors will support employment opportunities in the area.
Headquartered in Utah, Swire Coca-Cola, USA operates across 13 states in the American West. In Arizona alone, they employ over 2,200 people at various facilities. This new distribution facility in Mesa adds to their existing locations in Chinle, Flagstaff, Glendale, Huachuca City, Kingman, Prescott, Safford, Show Low, Tempe, Tucson and Yuma.
