Sunset Air launches Employee Stock Ownership Plan

FORT MYERS, Fla. - EntSun -- Sunset Air and Home Services, Southwest Florida's trusted HVAC provider for more than 25 years, has transitioned to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), reinforcing its long-standing commitment to employees, customers and the community.

An ESOP is a federally regulated retirement plan that allows employees to earn shares in the company over time. It is designed to foster a culture of ownership, accountability and shared success. Sunset Air's ESOP will officially launch on Oct. 28.

While some contractors may offer only wages, Sunset Air has provided a full compensation package, including competitive pay and benefits. Now, that package will also include a retirement plan through ESOP. This move is expected to strengthen recruiting efforts at a time when hiring in the trades is increasingly difficult. The transition also sends a clear message to customers and partners: Sunset Air is here to stay.
