~ Sterling Heights Public Library Launches New Authors and Artists Sale Series at Dodge Park Thursdays
The Sterling Heights Public Library is excited to announce a new opportunity for local creatives this summer. In lieu of their traditional Local Author Book Sale during Sterlingfest, the library will be launching a new Authors and Artists Sale series in partnership with Dodge Park Thursdays, the city's weekly summer farmers market and concert event.
This new series will take place during three Dodge Park Thursdays events on June 18, July 16, and August 20 from 3-8 p.m. By expanding the event to include both writers and visual artists, the library hopes to create a broader showcase for local talent while also connecting creators with the large crowds that attend the weekly farmers market.

Interested authors and artists are invited to apply for a booth at one or all of the sale dates. However, applications will not be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Instead, they will be reviewed and vetted by library staff. Applicants are encouraged to carefully complete the entire application to ensure it receives full consideration.
Applications will be open from April 6 at 9:30 a.m. until April 19 at 5 p.m. Those interested in participating can access the application through links provided on the library's website.
Lindsi Mackerson, a representative from the library, encourages anyone with questions or concerns to contact her directly at 586-446-2660.
This new series is just one of many exciting events happening at Sterling Heights Public Library this summer. Stay tuned for more updates and announcements as we continue to support and showcase our local creatives.
