Spokane: Presidents Day is a Parking Meter Holiday

EntSun News/11084142
~ Spokane, WA- As the Presidents Day holiday approaches, the city of Spokane has announced that on-street parking meters and kiosks will not require payment on Monday, Feb. 16. This decision was made by the city's Communications Director, Erin Hut, in an effort to provide convenience for residents and visitors during the holiday.

However, Hut reminds everyone that even though parking will be free on this day, all parking rules and regulations, including time limits, will still be enforced. This is to ensure that traffic flow and safety are maintained in the city.

In addition to parking changes, garbage and recycling pickup will continue as scheduled. The Waste to Energy Facility will also be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For those needing to conduct business with the city on Monday, Spokane City Hall will be open for regular hours. This includes access to Spokane 311 and the Development Services Center.
