She Had a System. She Never Published It. Her Granddaughter Broke the Cycle

Her grandmother reportedly played conservatively, limiting her wagers to $2 per game, yet Sullivan remembers that her grandmother was successful enough with horse racing to pay her annual property taxes.

"She had a system," Sullivan said. "I never learned it. What stays with me is that she had developed something that was a game-changer, but she never published the system."

That realization became increasingly meaningful as Sullivan developed her own work.

For more than a decade, Sullivan worked to develop, organize, and document the NOC Divination System. Like her grandmother, she had developed a systematic approach to interpreting information. Unlike her grandmother, Sullivan ultimately decided that her system needed to be documented and published. It was part of her commitment to break generational patterns.

"Sometimes what we inherit isn't just money or property," Sullivan said. "We can inherit knowledge, gifts, patterns, unfinished work, and even disappointments. At some point, somebody has to decide that the pattern ends with them."
