Rob Minton Joins AutoMobility Advisors as Principal Consultant

MARIETTA, Ga. - EntSun -- AutoMobility Advisors (AMA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Minton to their growing consulting practice as a Principal Consultant. Rob brings more than 26 years of automotive industry experience, including over two decades in commercial fleet, and will leverage his deep expertise in fleet strategy, connected vehicle programs, telematics, and OEM relationship development to support AMA's clients in navigating one of the industry's most complex and fast-moving sectors.

Rob brings a rare combination of manufacturer-side depth and fleet sector expertise. During over 13 years at General Motors, he built hands-on experience across communications, sales, and marketing with fleet customers and fleet management companies. He then spent a decade with Geotab, the world's leading commercial telematics provider, setting strategy for national fleet sales and managing commercial relationships with automakers, fleet management companies, national upfitters, and related stakeholders.

As Geotab's lead for OEM relationships in North America, Rob negotiated data licensing partnerships and helped shape the connected vehicle landscape from the inside. He has worked with major global OEMs, EV manufacturers, and car and ride-sharing companies on IoT stack strategy, including cloud platforms, SaaS, and hardware. He currently serves on the board of the Connected Vehicle Trade Association (CVTA).

In 2025, Rob received the Lifecycle Award from Bobit Business Media, recognizing a career-spanning contributions to the fleet industry in leadership, innovation, and service.
