Retina Specialist Dr. Eric Ruff Joins Buffalo Niagara Retina Associates | OCLI Vision

~ OCLI Vision, a leading eye care provider, has announced the addition of Dr. Eric Ruff to their team at Buffalo Niagara Retina Associates | OCLI Vision. As a highly trained ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal diseases, Dr. Ruff brings advanced expertise in the medical and surgical treatment of conditions affecting the retina, macula, and vitreous.

Starting August 25, 2025, patients can schedule appointments with Dr. Ruff at both the Williamsville (Limestone) and Orchard Park (Benzing Road) locations. With a strong focus on patient-centered care and complex retinal procedures, Dr. Ruff completed his fellowship in Medical and Surgical Diseases of the Retina at Midwest Retina in Dublin, Ohio.

Dr. Ruff's impressive credentials include graduating from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and completing his ophthalmology residency at Albany Medical College where he served as Co-Chief Resident. He also completed an internship at Tufts University Medical Center in Boston.

His dedication to research is evident through his clinical research on pneumatic retinopexy for retinal detachments which has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at prestigious forums such as the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO). He is also a recipient of the SUNY Downstate Alumni Research Award.
