Planet Earth Video Wins Best Music Video In 2019 Sf Frozen Film Festival

SAN DIEGO - EntSun -- It will premiere worldwide on August 20th, 2019. PLANET EARTH, a music-art video was the result of an international collaboration between filmmakers, artists, and students. The environmental music art video was filmed in Jordan and San Francisco, California. Planet Earth has also won the prestigious Award of Merit from the Accolade Global Film Competition in the music-art video category.

Directed and produced by Tarik Haddad. Music by Ilan Herman. Lyrics by the singer & actor PJ Malone. The video was featured at the Hollywood Dreams International Film Festival and Writer Competition as well as the Action On Film International Film Festival on August 3rd, 2019. Updates to follow later this Fall.

PLANET EARTH, a music-art video written, directed and produced by Tarik Haddad and filmed in Jordan and San Francisco, dwells on the beautiful and bountiful planet we live on and share with a myriad of animal species and fauna. Planet Earth is our home. Can we, as a global society, find the righteous path to making progress without destroying and polluting the oceans and forests, the air and land—the sacred elements that breathe life into all beings? Not enough is being done. Will the planet survive or will we, in our collective greed and apathy, destroy Mother Earth and the sustenance she so generously offers?

Tarik Haddad resides in Jordan and teaches film at Yarmouk University. He received his Masters of Fine Arts degree in filmmaking from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. POV film festival successfully connects industry with academia to help the development of filmmaking students in Jordan. Four of his graduate students worked on the Planet Earth video in both the USA and Jordan. Tarik supports collaboration projects with international crews.
