Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce celebrates community investment and women's leadership across our region
MANAHAWKIN, N.J. - EntSun -- The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce proudly recognizes OceanFirst Bank as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2026 Women in Business Nonprofit Leadership Series, a three‑part program designed to spotlight the powerful work being led by women across the Southern Ocean County region. OceanFirst Bank's longstanding dedication to community investment, financial empowerment, and regional vitality plays a vital role in ensuring these programs remain free and accessible to Chamber members seeking meaningful connection, inspiration, and professional growth. The series offers intimate, on‑site experiences hosted at local nonprofit headquarters, where attendees meet leadership teams, hear firsthand stories of impact, and gain insight into missions shaping the well‑being of our community.
The first session, held February 24 at Southern Ocean Habitat for Humanity, welcomed a capacity crowd eager to learn how women leaders are expanding access to safe, affordable housing through hands‑on projects and volunteer engagement. The series continues in September at HMH Southern Ocean Medical Center, where participants will explore the region's state‑of‑the‑art medical facility and hear from leaders on wellness, outreach, and emerging technology, followed by the October 27 session at The Maximilian Foundation, offering an inside look at youth empowerment and prevention education dedicated to strengthening families and building a healthier community.
