Nationwide Boiler Raises Nearly $68,000 At 45th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

FREMONT, Calif. - EntSun -- Nationwide Boiler Inc. is proud to announce the success of its 2026 Pebble Beach Charity Golf Tournament, held May 6–7 in Pebble Beach, CA. The event brought together customers, partners, and industry peers from across the U.S. and abroad for two days of camaraderie, competition, and philanthropy. Practice round was held at Spyglass Hill Golf Course, followed by tournament play at Pebble Beach Golf Links. A total of 56 golfers participated, with 100+ guests attending the awards ceremony and evening banquet. Nationwide Boiler raised nearly $68,000 for Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area and the ABMA Scholarship Fund.

The 2026 event brought together professionals from across the boiler and energy industries, highlighting the tournament's continued growth and industry presence. "We are incredibly grateful to our customers, partners, vendors and friends who continue to make this event such a meaningful success each year," said Nationwide Boiler's President and CEO, Larry Day. "Over the past 45 years, this tournament has grown into something truly special, raising more than $1 million in support of charitable organizations and educational initiatives. It's inspiring to see our industry come together not just for competition, but to give back and make a real, lasting difference in the communities we serve."

Funds were raised through:
  • Golf competitions and mulligan sales
  • A raffle for one ounce of gold and a unique deck-of-cards raffle game
  • A virtual auction enabling participation both on-site and remotely
  • A live auction held during the awards banquet and ceremony
  • Auction item contributions and direct charitable donations
  • A variety of sponsorship opportunities
Special recognition goes to Jim Lieskovan of Nationwide Boiler Inc. and Matt Whittington of Hurst Boiler & Welding Co., winners of the $1,000 deck-of-cards raffle, who generously donated their winnings back to the charities.

Highlights included:
  • Jake Cushard, winner of the Low Gross title
  • Cory York, winner of the Men's Handicap Division
  • Natalie and Nicholas Hansen, winners of both the Women's and Men's Callaway Divisions
  • On-green contest winners Jason Howard for Closest to the Pin, and Nathan Shrock for Longest Drive
The Nationwide Boiler Charity Golf Tournament continues to grow each year, in support of meaningful causes while strengthening relationships across the industry. Plans are already underway for next year's event, scheduled for May 12–13, 2027.
