Nark 5 Momentum Continues as I.D.K. Returns to Dingbatz Opening for D.R.I
EntSun News/11096653
New Jersey punk/hardcore veterans I.D.K. will return to Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey on Friday, September 4, 2026, marking their first appearance at the venue in more than two years.
CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. - EntSun -- The highly anticipated show will see I.D.K. opening for crossover thrash legends D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles) alongside fellow New Jersey bands The Donner Party and Zombie Mafia.
For I.D.K., the event represents a triumphant return to one of North Jersey's premier live music venues. After a two-year absence from the Dingbatz stage, the band is eager to reconnect with longtime supporters and share the evening with one of the most influential acts to ever emerge from the punk and crossover underground.
The performance also comes on the heels of the band's critically acclaimed latest release, the NARK 5 EP, which has generated strong praise from fans and underground music outlets alike. The release further cemented I.D.K.'s reputation for delivering hard-hitting, socially conscious punk/hardcore while demonstrating that the band's energy and passion remain as strong as ever more than three decades after their formation.

"It's been too long since we've played Dingbatz," says vocalist Anthony "Red" Paladino. "Coming back after two years and getting to open for a legendary band like D.R.I. is a huge honor. We're proud of the response we've received to NARK 5, and we're looking forward to bringing I.D.K. classics and our new material to the Dingbatz stage alongside some great bands."
Few bands have had the impact of D.R.I., whose influence helped bridge the worlds of punk, hardcore, and thrash metal, inspiring generations of underground musicians. Sharing the stage with such an iconic act makes this a memorable night for both the band and its supporters.
Fans can expect an evening of fast, loud, high-energy punk/hardcore and thrash metal featuring four bands dedicated to keeping underground music alive and thriving.
