MRAA Uses ChatGPT During Two-Week Development of New Membership Platform

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - EntSun -- Music Recognition Accolades and Awards has announced that ChatGPT was used as a development, planning, writing and review tool during the creation of the organization's new MRAA Member Site.

The rebuilt platform was developed through an intensive two-week process focused on replacing and expanding the MRAA membership website originally introduced in 2024.

During the redevelopment process, ChatGPT was used to help organize requirements, identify weaknesses in the previous platform, structure membership workflows, review security needs, improve application forms and develop plans for payments, documentation and administrative review.

"The use of ChatGPT helped us work through a large number of interconnected requirements in a structured way," said MRAA founder La'Nardo Myrick Sr. "We were able to review the membership process step by step, identify problems before launch and continue improving the system throughout the development process."

The project was not based on a single generated response. MRAA used a repeated process of outlining, reviewing, correcting, testing and refining the proposed system.

Areas addressed during the development process included:

• Membership application intake
• Secure document submission
• Membership approval and denial workflows
• Application and annual membership payments
• Stripe and PayPal payment planning
• Applicant invoices and receipts
• Certification applications
• Administrator roles and permissions
• Website security
• Theme and branding controls
• Software updates and backups

Myrick maintained control over organizational policies, pricing, membership standards, branding and final development decisions.

"Artificial intelligence did not replace leadership or decision-making," Myrick said. "It provided a way to organize ideas, challenge weaknesses and move through the development process more efficiently. The final direction remained with MRAA."

The new platform includes a $100 membership application process, secure applicant documentation, administrative review, applicant payment records and separate annual membership billing after approval.

MRAA believes that responsible use of artificial intelligence can help independent organizations create stronger digital systems without abandoning human oversight, organizational accountability or professional judgment.
