NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - EntSun -- MetroLagoons is honoring everyday heroes this May by offering a community giveaway and special discounts across its lagoon destinations in the greater Tampa and Southwest Florida regions.
MetroLagoons is launching its "Heroes Who Make a Splash" campaign in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4-8), National Nurses Week (May 6-12) and Memorial Day (May 25). The public is encouraged to submit nominations for inspiring heroes who serve and make a difference in their community. The selected hero will receive eight Day Tickets and Splash Passes, an Aquabana rental and a $250 food and beverage gift card.
Nominations are open through the end of May and can be submitted online at MetroLagoons.com/Heroes (https://www.metrolagoons.com/heroes). Eligible nominees include teachers, nurses, healthcare workers, first responders, veterans and active-duty military that reside in Florida. The winner will be announced by June 12.
