Mesa: Entertainment and Patriotic Programs Highlight Willmeng Arizona Celebration of Freedom

~ The Willmeng Arizona Celebration of Freedom is set to take place on Saturday, July 4th, and it's more than just a fireworks show. This family-friendly event will feature a variety of activities and programs to celebrate our country's freedom and independence. From live music to drone shows, stunt performances, and patriotic programs, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the main attractions at the celebration will be Stage America, located on the grass outside the Mesa Convention Center. Soulitify will be performing on stage while a brief Salute to America program will take place at approximately 9:15 p.m., setting the tone for a spectacular fireworks finale at 9:30 p.m. Additionally, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Arizona Band will be performing at the Mesa Amphitheater starting at 7 p.m., as part of a patriotic program that marks the end of Mesa's year-long celebration of our nation's 250th birthday.

This year, attendees can also look forward to a new addition - a drone show sponsored by NTT Global Data Centers. Approximately 200 drones operated by Pulse Drones will form aerial patriotic images in honor of our nation's milestone birthday.

For those looking for some indoor entertainment, Phoenix Championship Wrestling is back by popular demand and will be held inside the Mesa Convention Center this year. Stars such as Zamaya, Enrique Calderon, Jakob East, Yung Money, Taylor York and El Valiente will bring high-flying action to the night with their family-friendly professional wrestling matches. The Let Freedom Ring Laser Light Show will also make an appearance throughout the evening between wrestling matches.

But that's not all - there are plenty of other patriotic programs taking place inside the air-conditioned Mesa Convention Center as well. One such program is the Fallen Soldiers Memorial which honors Arizona's fallen heroes from the war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan. Another highlight is the presentation of historic U.S. flags at various times throughout the evening.

For those who prefer to be outdoors, there will be an expanded Patriotic Military Showcase featuring over 25 vintage military vehicles on display. Recruiters from the Army, Air Force, and Marine Corps will also be present, and an Army enlistment ceremony will take place.
