Los Angeles County to Begin Distributing Vote by Mail Ballots to Registered Voters in Long Beach Beginning April 30

Long Beach, CA ~ Long Beach, CA - The Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk has announced that the distribution of Vote by Mail ballots for the June 2 Primary Nominating Election will begin on April 30. This move aims to make voting more accessible and convenient for all registered voters in Los Angeles County.
According to the press release, every registered voter in the county will receive a Vote by Mail ballot in the mail. These ballots can be returned through various methods, including dropping them off at any of the designated Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Boxes, in person at any Vote Center in Los Angeles County, or by mail with no postage required.
For Long Beach voters, there are 20 locations throughout the city where they can access 24-hour drop boxes. These locations include community centers such as Bixby Park Community Center and Heartwell Park Community Center, libraries like Bret Harte Neighborhood Library and Mark Twain Neighborhood Library, and parks such as DeForest Park and Veterans Park.

The Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Boxes will remain open until 8 p.m. on Election Day, giving voters ample time to submit their ballots. To ensure transparency and ease for voters, all ballots can be tracked through https://california.ballottrax.net/voter/.
In addition to providing a list of all LA County's 24-hour Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Boxes, lavote.gov also offers information on how to check registration status and request a ballot in a different language.
