Local Resident 6th District DJ Donnelly Considering Running for Council to Address Homelessness

TUCSON, Ariz. - EntSun -- Immediate Release:

Announced today by local resident, Mr. DJ Donnelly that Donnelly wants to be on The Pima County Dept of Housing Council to address the serious homeless issues in the 6th District and in Tucson in general. Donnelly has gone to Mayor Romero for 2 months requesting a meeting for 15 min to discuss what her office is doing to address the serious homeless population in the 6th district his location as well and more. No communications from the Mayor's office all deaf ears.  Donnelly went to his local Congressman Juan Ciscomani again requesting a 15 min meeting, again no communication from the Congressman for a meeting. Donnelly stated on 1st Ave around Fry's many homeless people are in the parking lot, street holding cardboard signs in the heat now the cold at night, " Donnelly stated if the Mayor and the Congressman will not meet with myself, I shall run for the Council that shall address it to give all homeless people in the 6th District and in Tucson a "Second Chance" Donnelly stated.

Tucson has a serious homeless population, if they get assistance it is for one night, food etc, Donnelly wants a new approach to give the homeless a Second Chance via his plan to execute in early 2026. Donnelly shall file the paperwork in early 2026 to be on the Council to help the needy and not just collect a pay check. Donnelly stated" I see the needy on street corners, store parking lots and more, someone needs to help them correctly, I buy them lunch but want to do much more for them" The Lord has called me to do this, you never tell the Lord no" Donnelly stated.
