Lila Nikole Swim Week Event Recap

MIAMI - EntSun -- MIAMI, FL (July, 2019)

Renowned Miami swimwear designer Lila Nikole presented the Lila Nikole 'Free Spirit" swimwear collection at Miami Swim Week, in an epic runway show with a sold out room. Amongst present were Amara La Negra, Mario, Pleasure P, Debra Cox, Sam Jones III, The cast of Love & Hip Hop Miami Post, bloggers, fans and digital influencers.

The show was hosted by the Faena Forum on Sunday Night, featured a digital wall displaying arrays of sunsets while models walked over salt flat projections. An unavoidable delayed start had the show go on once the power was recouped. The over 550 guest who stuck it out, cheered on throughout the show for some truly unique and stunning visuals.

The show boasted a live percussion performance along side of DJ Rob Dinero on the turntables. The Free Spirit collection opened on a hand beaded goddess costume with over 5000 gems. The swimsuits dazzled with custom prints in soft color palettes including purple, pinks, orange tones, and pops of blue. Some of the silhouettes presented were bikinis, monokinis, tangas, cut outs, classics, cover-ups and resort. In true nature of the brand, Lila Nikole closed with an extraordinary Carnival costume that had the crowd screaming and cheering worn by Carnival Queen, Monifa Jensen.
