The government is now looking at new ways to stop the damage. This includes a new idea about what to do with the boars after they are caught.
The wild boar problem is in 243 villages across Kerala.
They damage important crops like rubber trees, tapioca, and pineapple.
Farmers are losing money and leaving good land empty. The state has tried to help by paying shooters. But the central government's rules make it hard to control the animals.
