EntSun News/11093738
~ Idaho Falls Parks & Recreation has announced that the War Bonnet Round Up, Idaho's oldest rodeo, is seeking talented singers to perform the national anthem at this year's event. The rodeo, which will take place at Sandy Downs from July 29 to August 1, is looking for individuals of all ages to showcase their vocal abilities in front of a packed arena.

According to Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation Director PJ Holm, the national anthem holds great significance at the War Bonnet Round Up, especially this year as America celebrates its 250th birthday. The organization aims to highlight the best vocal talent in eastern Idaho for this patriotic and momentous occasion.

Selected performers will have the opportunity to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" before one night of the rodeo and will also be treated to a VIP experience for themselves and a guest on their performance night. Interested individuals are asked to submit a video of themselves singing the national anthem by July 1, 2026. Those chosen will be notified by July 10.
