Hope Services Expands Its Reach With Purchase Of Second Vocational Training Center In Hudson
EntSun News/11100289
New Hudson center will expand access to hands-on vocational training and career opportunities while introducing a basic medical training program.
HUDSON, Fla. - EntSun -- Hope Services, a nonprofit organization providing vocational training and employment support to individuals with disabilities and others facing barriers to employment, has purchased a second Life Skills and Vocational Training Center in Hudson, marking a significant milestone in the organization's 23-year history.
Located at 6901 Old County Road 52 in Hudson, the new center, formerly a GTE Financial building, will expand Hope Services' ability to provide hands-on, industry-focused training to individuals throughout the region. The facility will include a full commercial kitchen for the organization's culinary training program, a dedicated construction training room, and a simulated hospital room.
One of the center's newest offerings will be Hope Services' basic medical training program. The facility will include a simulated hospital room where participants can learn foundational skills and become familiar with the environment, equipment, and responsibilities they may encounter in entry-level health care positions.
"This new center gives us the opportunity to meet people closer to where they live and connect them with training that can lead to meaningful employment," said David Caldas, Executive Director of Operations of Hope Services. "Every classroom and training area has been designed to help individuals build practical skills, confidence and greater independence."

The new facility will allow Hope Services to serve more clients while expanding the organization's capacity to provide career-focused training aligned with local workforce needs. In addition to medical training, the center will offer culinary and construction training, with Phase II offering retail and hospitality training opportunities.
The expansion reflects Hope Services' long-term vision of providing inclusive, community-centered vocational education that prepares individuals for meaningful employment while responding to the needs of local employers. With a second location, Hope Services will be able to reach more individuals and families, strengthen community partnerships and broaden access to vocational training throughout the region.
For 23 years, Hope Services has provided vocational training and employment support to individuals seeking greater independence and career readiness. Through hands-on instruction, industry-aligned programs and community partnerships, the organization equips participants with the skills, confidence and experience needed to pursue meaningful employment.
"This is more than the purchase of a building—it is the beginning of a new chapter of hope for our community," said Cindy Bray, Founder and CEO of Hope Services. "When we started Hope Services 23 years ago, we dreamed of creating opportunities for people who are too often overlooked. This new center will allow us to reach even more individuals, help them discover their abilities and prepare them for meaningful and fulfilling careers."
