Honesdale Painters Launch Season With Act of Community Kindness

The company asked local residents to nominate friends, neighbors, or family members who might benefit from a free paint job. Nominations included people facing medical bills, single parents working multiple jobs, elderly homeowners on fixed incomes, and families who've had to put home care at the bottom of the priority list just to stay afloat.

From those submissions, Pascavage Painting selected one homeowner to receive a complete, professional paint job at no cost. The project includes prep work, minor repairs as needed, high-quality paint, and the same attention to detail the company brings to every paying project.

For Pascavage Painting, this isn't just a one-off marketing stunt. It's a statement about what kind of business they want to be known as: one that is rooted in the community, not just working in it. "We live here. We work here. Our kids grow up here," Vinnie added. "If our skills can lighten the load for even one family, that's a good way to start the season."

This is not the first time Pascavage Painting has done this. In 2020, they provided a free makeover to the exterior building of the Historical Society in Hawley, PA because they didn't receive funding.

The company hopes this also encourage other local businesses to think about how they can give back with the skills and tools they already have.
