Historical Fiction Audiobook "Wetion" Wins 10th Award, Numerous Critiques

COURTENAY COMOX, British Columbia - EntSun -- Award-winning author James Allan Krause, PhD has received a tenth honor - Distinguished Favorite from Independent Press Awards. Nine others were bestowed at year end by Outstanding Creators Awards, along with a comprehensive review.

A first place award for historical fiction was conferred. At award levels ranging from 2nd place finishes to honourable mentions, others were given for the categories of: Science Fiction; Education and Reference Books; Best Research; Best World Building; Best Character; Best Narrated; and Best Quote/Passage. The Independent Press Award was for the category of Cross-Genre, essentially a second place finish.

Wetion is an entrant in the 2026 Audie Awards for the category of Best Production and Sound Design.

Next to appear from The Trilogy: Looking Back Here and Now, Searching Forward is The Pilot and the Parrot. Transformation of its audiobook content is currently underway with an expected release this spring. The Gardens of Venus, scientific fiction, will follow in 2027. These multimedia productions all feature full length novels interconnecting with ten scene plays and original songs. They are produced in part using Apple's Logic Pro software.

Wetion's songs were described as giving a "pop-folk vibe," a style likened to that of Peter, Paul and Mary, iconic folk singers from the sixties. Evolution into other styles occurs in songs to follow.
