HALO Expands Making Sense of Your Worth Groups to Help Individuals Find Healing, Value, and C

EntSun News/11090251
OKLAHOMA CITY - EntSun -- As the mental health crisis continues to affect individuals and families across Oklahoma, HALO (Healing, Attachment, Loving, Outreach) Project is expanding its Making Sense of Your Worth (MSOYW) group programs to provide accessible, healing-centered support for individuals seeking connection, value, and emotional restoration.

Making Sense of Your Worth is an eight-week group therapy program designed for men, women, and teens who desire healing through positive self-worth and secure attachment. Through guided discussion, reflection, and connection, participants are supported as they replace harmful beliefs about themselves with truth and develop healthier patterns in relationships.

In recent MSOYW groups, 84 individuals participated in the program, engaging in a therapeutic environment centered on safety, vulnerability, and healing. Participants consistently report increased emotional awareness, stronger boundaries, and a deeper understanding of their inherent worth.

Among teen participants, the impact has been especially significant. 100% of teens surveyed reported that their participation in MSOYW helped them make changes to toxic relationships, demonstrating the program's role in equipping young people with tools for healthier connection and decision-making.

As demand for mental health services continues to rise, HALO has seen MSOYW groups play a vital role in supporting healing while reducing the need for ongoing individual counseling sessions. By addressing foundational issues related to self-worth and attachment in a group setting, participants experience growth that promotes long-term emotional stability and resilience.

"The need for healing is real, and group-based care allows us to reach people in a meaningful and accessible way," said Cindy R. Lee, CEO of HALO Project. "Through Making Sense of Your Worth, individuals are reminded of their value and supported in ways that foster lasting change, even during this mental health crisis."

In response to growing demand, HALO Project is expanding MSOYW group offerings in 2026, increasing access to therapeutic spaces where individuals can experience healing through connection and community.

HALO Project's mission is to equip families and community partners with proven methods to work toward individual healing and disrupt the cycle of hurt in the community. The organization believes that when people are seen, heard, and valued, they not only survive - they thrive.
