Haamcc Launches Casc Youth Heritage Celebration Initiative

MIAMI - EntSun -- The Haitian American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (HAAMCC) launched 5 years ago the CASC Initiative — Community • Arts • Sports • Commerce, a youth-centered Heritage Celebration initiative connecting South Florida young people with sports, culture, entrepreneurship, media, leadership and economic opportunity.

CASC brings approximately 60–85 young people to each featured event, transforming professional sporting experiences into opportunities for cultural engagement, career exploration, leadership development and community connection.

2026–2027 HERITAGE CELEBRATIONS

Inter Miami CF – Nu Stadium — October 10, 2026

Miami HEAT Caribbean NIght at Miami Arena  in January, 2027 and Miami Marlins Haitian Heritage celebration at the LoanDepot Park in May 2027

Participants will have opportunities to celebrate both Haitian and Caribbean heritage while exploring careers in sports, media, marketing, business and entertainment. Programming may include networking, digital storytelling, professional development, photography and video production, and engagement with entrepreneurs, community leaders and professionals.

HAAMCC is building CASC as a repeatable youth engagement model, using sports and cultural celebrations as gateways to leadership, workforce development, entrepreneurship and meaningful community participation. We welcome businesses, community organizations, youth-serving organizations, government leaders, media partners and strategic supporters interested in helping expand the initiative and create opportunities for South Florida youth.
