Eric Wilson Named 2025 Rising Star By TXCPA

DALLAS, July 11, 2025 ~ Dallas, TX - Eric Wilson, Director of Your Part-Time Controller, LLC's (YPTC's) Dallas-Fort Worth office, has been recognized as a 2025 Rising Star by the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA). This prestigious award celebrates CPAs under the age of 40 who demonstrate exceptional leadership, professional excellence, and community impact.

For Eric, this recognition is more than just a milestone in his career. It is a moment of reflection and inspiration. When asked about what the distinction of 2025 Rising Star means to him, Eric shared, "On one hand, it's been a great opportunity to pause and reflect on the first dozen years of my career. I've been very intentional in building a professional life that aligns with who I am as a person, so receiving this award feels especially meaningful." He continued, "On the other hand, it's also pushed me to think more deeply about my goals for the next dozen (or more!) years. After all, it's called the Rising Star award for a reason."

Eric's recognition is rooted in his dedication to the nonprofit sector. At YPTC, he thrives on using his skills for the greater good. He joined YPTC in 2017 and quickly became the first Manager in their Houston office in 2019. In 2022, Eric relocated to Dallas and became Director of the newly launched Dallas-Fort Worth office. He shared his passion for working with nonprofits by saying, "Between my colleagues at YPTC, clients, and other 'nonprofiteer' friends I've made along the way, I feel very privileged to be part of such a wide community dedicated to doing good."
