Edessa School of Fashion and (DE FI) Global INC Event Reaches Capacity in Dayton, New Session Added

DAYTON, Ohio - EntSun -- Dayton, Ohio. Strong community interest is building around an initiative that could bring Dayton its first ever fashion college.

Milwaukee based Edessa School of Fashion, the Midwest's only designated fashion school, is collaborating with Dayton and Cincinnati based (DE-FI) Global INC to explore bringing a fashion college and expanded fashion education opportunities to the region.

Interest in the initiative has been significant. The Edessa School of Fashion and (DE-FI) Global INC Mixer and Information Session scheduled for March 27 in Dayton has officially reached capacity.

In response to the strong demand, organizers have opened a waitlist for the March 27 event in the event of cancellations. A second information session has also been added for Saturday, March 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time to accommodate additional interest from community members and industry partners.

The sessions are designed to introduce attendees to the vision behind bringing a fashion college to Dayton and to share information about academic pathways, industry collaboration, and the role fashion education can play in workforce development and regional economic growth.

Organizers say the initiative reflects a growing effort to connect fashion education with entrepreneurship, manufacturing, and creative industry opportunities across Southwest Ohio.

Individuals interested in learning more or requesting access to the upcoming information sessions may submit a request online. Due to the curated nature of the gatherings, attendance is limited and confirmations will be issued by invitation.
