Ebola Kentucky migrants exposed to ebola virus arrive

LEXINGTON, Ky. - April 1, 2019 - EntSun -- the health department is following guidance from state and federal health agencies to monitor returning travelers from Ebola-affected areas of Africa.

The Lexington-Fayette County Health department has announced partnerships with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention as well as the Kentucky Department of Public Health to monitor those returning from ebola-affected areas of Africa for 21 days.

Health officials say the precaution is being taken to help ensure the safety of not only travelers but also the surrounding community.

Kentucky residents should be on the alert, for vomiting blood migrants and migrants with high fever.  The Ebola Virus alert was issued this month after migrants from Congo Africa exposed to Ebola Virus arrived in mass in Kentucky seeking refugee from violence and death in Congo Africa.

Residents of Kentucky are advised to tell loved ones and family members of this potential outbreak of Ebola Virus in Kentucky and to call their senators to voice their opinions on the Ebola Virus outbreak in Kentucky.
