About The Game That Changed College Basketball

The Game That Changed College Basketball is a feature-length documentary film that tells the amazing story of the historic 1974 ACC Championship game between N.C State and Maryland and how it changed the face of the NCAA Tournament and the game of college basketball forever. Scheduled for world-wide release in 2026, the film features a virtual "Who's Who" of college basketball and sports including David Thompson (Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame), Coach Charles "Lefty" Driesell (Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame), Len Elmore, John Lucas, Tom McMillen, Maurice "Moe" Howard, Billy Packer and John Feinstein.
