Founder Robert Hess to Visit Apalachicola, Tampa, and Jacksonville July 4 through 6 During 6,554 Mile Journey Honoring America's 250th Anniversary
TAMPA, Fla. - EntSun -- Rally4Vets, the flagship program of the Disabled Veteran Empowerment Network (DVEN), will bring its America Grand Tour to Florida July 4 through 6, as founder and decorated Vietnam veteran Robert Hess visits Apalachicola, Tampa, and Jacksonville during a 37 day, 6,554 mile journey across 16 states commemorating America's 250th anniversary.
Arriving in Florida during the nation's Independence Day celebrations, Hess will spend the holiday weekend meeting with veterans, community members, and supporters while continuing Rally4Vets' mission of raising awareness for veteran mental health, connecting veterans with resources, and supporting service dog programs for veterans living with PTSD and other invisible wounds.
The Fourth of July is a meaningful milestone on the America Grand Tour, providing an opportunity to celebrate our nation's independence while recognizing the generations of military service members whose sacrifices have protected those freedoms. Throughout the weekend, Robert hopes to encourage conversations about patriotism, service, resilience, and ensuring veterans receive the support they deserve long after returning home.

"Independence Day reminds us that freedom has always come at a cost," said Hess. "As we celebrate America's birthday, it is important that we also honor the men and women who answered the call to serve. This journey is about reminding every veteran that their service is valued and that they are never alone."
Florida represents one of the most significant stops of the nationwide tour, home to one of the largest veteran populations in the country. Robert welcomes opportunities to meet with local veterans, community organizations, and residents throughout his travels across the state.
Hess will be available for in person, phone, and virtual interviews throughout his time in Florida.
The America Grand Tour has already generated media coverage across multiple states, including a feature by NBC Montana during Robert's recent stop in Bozeman. The interview highlighted Rally4Vets' mission and Robert's cross country journey to honor veterans during America's 250th anniversary.
