Local HVAC company joins fellow Treasure Coast businesses in supporting Mission United Okeechobee & St. Lucie's efforts to serve veterans and military families.
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - EntSun -- PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – Cooling With Connelly's, a family-owned HVAC company serving Florida's Treasure Coast, was recently recognized as a Hometown Helper sponsor for the inaugural Boots ON. Hearts UNITED. fundraiser held on March 28, 2026. The event, organized by Mission United Okeechobee & St. Lucie, raised funds to support an unmet needs fund for local veterans and their families.
Hosted at Freedom Ranch, the evening featured live music by Jam N Biscuits, a brisket dinner barbecued by Okeechobee County Sheriff Noel Stephen using beef from Adam's Ranch, and a live auction. All proceeds benefit the Mission United unmet needs fund, which provides emergency assistance to veterans across St. Lucie and Okeechobee counties.

A Natural Fit for Cooling With Connelly's
For Cooling With Connelly's, supporting veterans is not a one-time gesture. The company has long offered a 10% discount on all repair services for military veterans and sees the Boots ON. Hearts UNITED. sponsorship as an extension of that commitment.
"Veterans and their families are a huge part of the Treasure Coast community," said Don Connelly, owner of Cooling With Connelly's. "When we heard about what Mission United was doing with this event, getting involved was a no-brainer. These are people who served our country, and the least we can do is show up for them."
A Community Effort
Cooling With Connelly's was one of several local businesses recognized as Hometown Helper sponsors for the event. Fellow sponsors included Allied Pivot Sales/Allied Welding and Maintenance, Brighter Days Electric, Titan IT Management, American Drilling Services, Wellcare Medicare, and Highland Pest Control Inc.
