CONRIC pr + marketing is one of four companies to win an American Advertising Federation Angel Award

FORT MYERS, Fla. - EntSun -- Award season is here and CONRIC pr + marketing is feeling the love. The CONRIC team has earned international recognition and an American Advertising Federation (AAF) Silver Angel Award for its "Drive it Home" campaign PSA video for Keep Lee County Beautiful. CONRIC is one of just four organizations in the AAF-SWFL chapter to receive an Angel Award. The SWFL chapter is part of the AAF Fourth District which is composed of advertising professionals and organizations in Florida and the Caribbean. The award was presented on Sep. 26, 2020 at the AAF Fourth District Summer Conference, held at the beautiful new Luminary Hotel & Co. in Fort Myers, Fla.

"We are humbled and honored to receive the Angel Award for our work with Keep Lee County Beautiful," says president and CMO, Connie Ramos-Williams. "Our team developed a comprehensive campaign that connected the community with our imaginative Johnny McGregor character who drove his trash home from the time he was a young child all the way through his senior years teaching his grandchildren to do the same."

The "Drive it Home" campaign for Keep Lee County Beautiful encouraged drivers to avoid the temptation to litter and keep any trash from a road trip until they arrive at their destination. The comprehensive campaign stretched across social media, billboards and television. It reached over two million Florida residents and earned statewide recognition from Keep Florida Beautiful for its outstanding communication and social media outreach for its work to clean and revitalize the community.

Conducted by the American Advertising Federation Fourth District, the Angel Awards honor the very best in public service advertising. It combines two missions of the organization: to utilize industry expertise to address community issues, and to celebrate and honor advertising excellence.
