Columbia woman arrested for fatal vehicle collision

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - On April 2, Kyshonda Williams, a 30-year-old resident of Columbia, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals and the Tennessee State Highway Patrol on an arrest warrant for involuntary manslaughter in the second degree, operating a motor vehicle without the highest degree of care, and failure to yield to an approaching vehicle.

The warrant was issued in connection with a crash that occurred on November 2, 2025. Williams was involved in a collision with a motorcyclist, Ethan Cash. Cash sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he later passed away from those injuries.

The Columbia Police Department is currently conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident. They are asking anyone with information to come forward and contact them at 573.874.7652. A cash reward of up to $2,500 may be given for information leading to an arrest.

The case number for this incident is 2025-010668 and it falls under Missouri Statutes 565.027 for involuntary manslaughter in the second degree, 304.012 for operating a motor vehicle without the highest degree of care, and 304.351 for failure to yield to an approaching vehicle.
