Columbia Police respond to traffic collision on Interstate 70 eastbound

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - On the evening of March 1st, a tragic accident occurred on Interstate 70 eastbound near the 127.4 mile marker. According to Columbia Police officers, a vehicle collided with a pedestrian who was attempting to cross the highway from north to south. The pedestrian, identified as Pollyanna Tinker, 50, of Columbia, was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been notified.
