Columbia: Interested parties meeting regarding traffic calming on Hoylake Drive to be held June 4

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ A recent traffic study in Columbia, MO has revealed that Hoylake Drive is experiencing higher than desirable speeds from vehicles. In response, the City of Columbia Public Works department has announced an informal open house meeting to discuss potential traffic calming measures for the area.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 4 from 6-7 p.m. in Room 1C of City Hall. City engineering staff will be present to provide information and answer any questions from the public. Attendees will also have access to diagrams and other materials related to the project.

Public comments will be accepted at the meeting and can also be submitted through the website until June 19. These comments will be taken into consideration as designs for the project are developed.
