(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ The City of Columbia is currently seeking applications for various boards and commissions, providing an opportunity for residents to actively participate in local government. The application process is now open and interested individuals can access the necessary forms on the City's official website, CoMo.gov. All applications must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office by 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6.
These boards and commissions serve as a platform for citizens to represent their community and have a say in important decisions. The current openings include positions on the Building Construction Codes Commission, Commission on Cultural Affairs, Commission on Human Rights, Food Council, Parking Advisory Commission, and Public Transit Advisory Commission.
