For applications requiring even greater durability, CastoDur EQT can be complemented with Chrome White Iron (CWI) or CDP® complex carbide weld overlay technology.

The plates are easily weldable using Castolin Eutectic filler metals such as EutecTrode® 966, CEC 9598, EnDOtec® DO*266S, DO*68S, or TeroMatec® OA 3302, with preheat recommendations varying by thickness. Additional abrasion protection can be achieved using overlay solutions like Abratec N6710 XHD, SafeHard 700, or TeroMatec® OA 4603.
