Caretech Brings Heartfelt Advocacy and Family Legacy of Service to Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. - EntSun -- Caretech, a leading mission-based home care provider, is officially expanding its services into the Lincoln market. While the move represents a significant step in the organization's goal to be a Midwest leader in non-medical care, for Chief Operating Officer Kerin Zuger, the expansion is deeply personal.

She currently cares for a 14-year-old named Mary* who has autism. That is the heartbeat of what we do."

Caretech arrives in Lincoln at a pivotal moment. The organization is a vocal advocate for families navigating the Nebraska Aged and Disabled (AD) Waiver. Following a wave of public input, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) recently retracted several proposed cuts, including a 40-hour weekly cap for live-in caregivers.

"The retraction of those cuts is encouraging news," Zuger noted. "It shows that when families speak up, the state listens. But the challenge of balancing fiscal health with the safety of our neighbors remains. We are moving into Lincoln to be a partner in that balance."
