Captiva Cruises offers sunset voyage to Swashbuckler's Ball on North Captiva
EntSun News/11074433
SANIBEL ISLAND, Fla. - EntSun -- Captiva Cruises is teaming up with The Island Club at North Captiva to offer a one-of-a-kind sunset cruise experience to the Swashbuckler's Ball, a pirate-themed celebration set for Saturday, Oct. 25.
The Swashbuckler's Ball, the ultimate pirate bash, will take place from 6 p.m. to midnight at The Island Club at North Captiva. Guests are invited to don their best pirate attire and enjoy a night packed with live music, a Caribbean buffet, bottomless beer and rum cocktails and pirate-themed entertainment. Highlights include prize drawings, pirate duck races and a costume contest that promises fierce competition and plenty of laughs.
For Captiva Cruises' sunset cruise to the ball, guests will board Captiva Cruises' Santiva, a 45' motorized catamaran, at McCarthy's Marina and depart at 6 p.m. for a scenic journey to North Captiva. Beer, wine and soft drinks are available for purchase on the boat during the cruise.

The cruise package, which is bested suited for adults, includes a sunset cruise with beautiful views from Captiva Pass, transportation to and from The Island Club at North Captiva, two hours of access to The Island Club's Swashbuckler's Ball, where guests will have access to all of the food, drinks, entertainment and fun available to general-admission ticketholders.
Tickets for the cruise and two-hour event experience are $100 and can be purchased at CaptivaCruises.com. Space is limited to 49 guests, so early booking is encouraged. For those who want to enjoy the full six-hour event from 6 p.m. to midnight, general admission tickets are available for $110 at NorthCaptiva.com/Pirate-Party (cruise and ferry transportation not included).
The ball is the latest incarnation of a celebration that commemorates when North Captiva split from Captiva in October 1921 when a hurricane created Redfish Pass, separating the landmass. Previously connected, the powerful storm surge carved a channel, dividing the island into the separate islands of Captiva and North Captiva.
