Cancer Alliance Network receives $175,000 grant from the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation

NAPLES, Fla. - EntSun -- The Cancer Alliance Network has received a $175,000 grant from the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation to help further its mission in supporting local cancer patients. The money will support patients through their treatment and will be used to fund the CANCares Financial Aid program and the CAN Family Respite Weekend at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point.

Cancer Alliance Network was formed in 2002 and is devoted to providing dignity to local cancer patients and their families in Collier and Lee counties through financial aid, resources and support. It advocates for patients, develops long-term, innovative solutions to enhance the quality of life and improve outcomes for individuals and families in Southwest Florida.

"We are thrilled with the relationship that has been formed over the years with the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation," said Cancer Alliance Network CEO Neftali Feliciano. "Their generous funding allows us to continue the work we do to help the many families in need in our community."

The Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation is a long-time benefactor of health and medical related causes and has a history of working with Cancer Alliance Network. Created by Best Buy Founder Richard M. Schulze in 2004, the organization gives back to nearly 400 nonprofits annually in fields related to health and medical, human services and education.
