Bubbles in the Bottoms: A Celebratory Weekend Destination Prelude to the Big Game

Kansas City's West Bottoms First Friday Weekend February 5-7
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - EntSun -- This First Friday Weekend is sure to be lively, with the cheer of visitors excited the Kansas City Chiefs are playing in the BIG game. The West Bottoms is celebrating with bubbly champagne toasts at participating stores for Bubbles in the Bottoms this February 5-7. The district will be making those fist-bump moments by blowing bubbles in the streets and lots of fun around finding Chiefs red and gold items.
The West Bottoms draws visitors from all over the region to experience shopping in these multi-story, historic buildings. Store designers creatively display the vintage, antiques, apparel, and unique items to make looking around more fun. Visitors love the thrill of finding things that often have an origin story beyond the adventure of finding them.
"The West Bottoms is adding bubbles for fun this month," said Amber Arnett-Bequeaith, West Bottoms district spokesperson. "It's a perfect time to celebrate our Chiefs as the AFC champions and a fun place to share champaign bubbles with your valentine."

In the spirit of the Festival of the Full Moon, the month's moon is the Snow Moon. If it is freezing, the festive bubbles floating in the streets may freeze and offer a picturesque gleam. Festival of the Full Moon will have a new theme each month. Upcoming 2021 First Friday Weekend schedule includes:
March 5-7 – Brew in the Bottoms: an Irish Weekend, April 2-4 – Bunnies in the Bottoms, May 7-9 – Blooms in the Bottoms, June 3-5 – Brides in the Bottoms, July 2-4 – Bravo in the Bottoms, August 6-8 – Barks in the Bottoms, September 3-5 – Big-Hearted in the Bottoms, October 1-3 – Boo in the Bottoms, November 5-7 – Blessings in the Bottoms, and December Holiday Weekends – Bows in the Bottoms.
